They lurk the halls of locker lined walls
They sit in classrooms waiting for prey
Yes, they exist even in offices,
Parks and subways
We’ve all come in contact with one
In our lives
As if they even ever had the right
They are ferocious, unfeeling, crippling beasts
When they are in their own arena’s scene
Unceasing and determined
To wipe out and slay
While tails hide between their two hind legs
They are the Bullies of today.
As beasts they roam the earth,
Waiting to devour
But they are not who they say they are
In fact, we’ve no need to cower.
It has been guessed at and assumed
But no one has confirmed—
Are these beasts really cowards
On this upside down Earth?
How can we know for sure
Who they really are
They must lack courage
For they face only the small
I dare say they are cowards
For it is the little beings
Who are soaked in the beasts’ shadows
Until it comes to evening
Once they are home,
They aren’t greeted with hello
But with the same slaps and bruises
They afflicted on little Joe.
That’s how they’ve learned their ways,
To continually harm
Because at least they feel better
When they’re twisting SOMEONE ELSE’S arm
When will they learn
They were not to be beasts
But loving, affectionate,
Capable human beings?
Not “blustering, quarrelsome, overbearing” intimidators
The world is already full of plenty alligators
Here’s to the bullies
To turn against their creed
For beasts have roamed far too long
It is time for human beings.
