Here's to my future maid of honor...

I don't think you know how much you mean to me. No matter how many stupid things I do or mistakes I make you are the one standing next to me at the end of the day. Ever time I have gotten my heart broken, you have been there to pick up the pieces (even though you told me I would get hurt from the beginning). You have literally been the only contact friend in my life and I can't begin to thank you for that.

Who would have thought out of all the people in my life you would be the one standing next to me today? It seems like we were meant to be friends from birth the way we were attached at the hip. You were the little brother I never wanted and the son my parents never had. Even though little girls were supposed to be best friends with other little girls I didn't want any part of that. I had someone I could ride around town with all day or jump on the trampoline with until our legs fell off. I had everything needed in you for the young years. Being an only child the younger years were very lonely, but I always had you to turn to. Even though we fault like brother and sister, I never wanted you to leave and even when I did, I missed you the minute you were gone.

Life has taken us on a very different journey, but I'm so thankful that you have been there through it all. I know I don't say it nearly enough, but I am so beyond proud of you. You have done so many amazing things already in your 18 years of life. How many people are able to say that graduating high school they made a plan and stuck with it let alone excelled as you have? Watching you never give up on yourself even when you have wanted to is so inspiring. Going from living in each others yards to living over an hour away scared me beyond words, I thought our relationship would fall apart, but we have only grown from it. Thank you for always making time for me when I come home, for coming to see me, talking me out of dropping out and most importantly, thank you for always coming to see me before I leave.

Looking toward the future, I only hope you find everything you have hoped for and more. You deserve the world Mathew. Do whatever makes you happy and never lose sight of your dreams because you can achieve anything you set your mind to. Never settle for less than amazing and even though some things aren't falling perfectly into place, it doesn't mean it won't. Life has a funny way of working out, but always remember that you can turn to me, I will always be here I promise you that.

I love you so much best friend!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
