Here's My Glowing Recommendation for the 'Office Ladies' Podcast

I mean it's Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey. Enough said?

Here's the scoop. This is the ultimate re-watch podcast. These co-stars, who are also best friends in real life, work their way through each episode. In each podcast episode, you find out things that us watchers would never know by viewing the show. You can also write to the office ladies and ask questions or let them know what you catch when watching each episode. So, here's why I can't stop listening to this podcast.

These two ladies are simply comedic geniuses. You can tell that they are extremely close in their daily lives. They are constantly bantering, picking on each other, and egging each other on during the silliest conversations. You learn how they are in their real lives. They are truly great people; so generous and kind. Not only do you learn a lot about them, but you get to learn a lot about the rest of the casts' normal lives. In fact, many of their co-stars join them as guests in some of the episodes. You get to learn about their journey getting to The Office, as well as what they are doing now.

Another reason this podcast is so entertaining is because of all the stories you get to hear from these two. They tell you some of the best bloopers and memories they have from filming. It's amazing to hear about how hard it was for the cast to not laugh at some of the most humorous scenes. Or to hear about all the times that the actors would improvise, and it would turn out to be 10x better than the script. It makes you realize how awesome this show really is.

These ladies put in some serious work at making this podcast the best they can. They show up to each episode with tons of note cards, because they watch the episode multiple times and take notes. They jot down fast facts, things they catch in the scene, and they even provide you with the time codes, so you can go find it yourself. It should also be noted that Angela is the QUEEN of finding small things in the background that almost no one else would catch! And I can't forget about how Jenna texts the other co-stars EVERY time she has a question to ask. Lastly, they are so receptive to their audience. They are constantly responding to people who reach out. They even give them a shout out and answer their questions within the podcast.

This podcast is so addicting just like the TV show itself. And trust me, after you listen to this podcast, you're going to want to watch the series all over again, so you can see for yourself the things Jenna and Angela point out!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
