16. George Eacker

He really does NOT know how to count to 10.

15. James Reynolds

Extortion is not a good look on ANYONE.

14. James Madison

James Madison wasn't an awful character, but he was sick for all of Act 2.

13. Maria Reynolds

Cheating on someone isn't cool, but cheating on someone for blackmail purposes is really not cool.

12. King George III

King George III is insane and semi-psychotic, but he does have some dope songs and even doper dance moves.

11. Thomas Jefferson

Thomas Jefferson is a morally-ambiguous character, but he does have some pretty solid political beliefs.

10. Peggy Schuyler

As iconic as Peggy is (#ANDPEGGY), she doesn't really have any character traits besides being left behind by her sisters.

9. Phillip Hamilton

Phillip Hamilton was a little impulsive, and that was his downfall. He looked pretty cute rapping, though.

8. John Laurens

John Laurens was kind of boring as a character, but Anthony Ramos has a beautiful voice and my sister would kill me if I ranked him any lower.

7. George Washington

I. love. George. Washington. so. freaking. much. Christopher Jackson could have made Washington one-dimensional, but he created a character that was deep and soulful.

6. Marquis de Lafayette

Lafayette was a much needed source of comic relief, and David Diggs set a record for most words per second during Guns and Ships!

5. Hercules Mulligan

Hercules Mulligan is such an underrated character and was the best flower girl anyone could ask for.

4. Aaron Burr

Leslie Odom Jr. could have portrayed Burr as the villain of the show, but he didn't. We could slowly see Burr unravel, and I know I somehow felt bad for him by the end of the show.

3. Alexander Hamilton

Alexander Hamilton made some questionable choices, but Lin Manuel-Miranda made Hamilton so endearing that you couldn't help but love him by the end of the show. We can see Hamilton's reasoning behind all of his questionable decisions, which makes him a more human character.

2. Angelica Schuyler

Angelica Schuyler was the character that stuck out to me when I first listened to Hamilton. She is strong and independent and knows exactly what she wants.

1. Elizabeth "Eliza" Schuyler-Hamilton

I don't think I could have chosen any other character to rank as #1. Eliza shows a tremendous amount of grace and kindness over the show. She forgives Hamilton after his affair and the death of their son, and she works to continue their family's legacy for fifty years after her husband died. We could all stand to be more like Eliza.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
