Some Movies To Look Forward To

Lately, there have been a ton of new movie announcements. Most of the ones that I am excited for are Disney (as I have an unexplainable love for the brand), but I am sure there will be others that I am interested in as well. For now though, here are a list of movies that I am personally super excited for.

*Note that these are not in the order that they are released.

1. Alice Through The Looking Glass

I am not completely sure as to what exactly occurs at the beginning of the trailer, but I have gathered that in this movie Alice is in a race against Time to save her friend the Hatter and all of Underland.

Release Date: 05/27/2016

2. Disney's BFG

I only just discovered this movie while looking for movies that were coming out this summer, but this story about the Big Friendly Giant and the not-so-friendly giants seems super sweet and lesson-oriented. Maybe. I want to see it.

Release Date: 07/01/2016

3. Me Before You

I have seen this trailer a few times now, but each time I see it I continue to tear up. This romance movie is sure to be a tear jerker, and I for one cannot wait to see it. It is based on the story of a man who was hit by what I think is a motorcycle and then a woman comes to be his caregiver.

Release Date: 06/03/2016

4. Finding Dory

Another Disney movie, of course! I loved Finding Nemo when I watched it, but Dory was probably one of my favorite characters. I am super excited to see Finding Dory at some point. This movie is about her finding her family and discovering who she is.

Release Date: 06/17/2016

5. Be Our Guest - Beauty and The Beast Live-Action Remake

Emma Watson is the star of Disney's live-action remake of the classic Beauty and the Beast. Most people probably do not know, but Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite Disney movies of all time--well, I love them all. I am beyond ecstatic that Disney has started making live-action remakes of films and I cannot wait for this one.

Release Date: 03/17/2017

There are other movies that are in progress and do not have any trailers to their name yet, that I can see myself going to see. Here are some of those.

6. MoanaI am not entirely sure what the plan is for this movie, but I have gathered that it is about an ancient world and a character by the name Moana. I am not sure if this movie's actual title with be Moana, so if you are interested I would keep a look out for anything about a navigator.

Release Date: 11/23/2016

7. Dunkirk

I am not a huge fan of history at all, but this production of Dunkirk is probably something I am going to have to see. Although that is probably because Harry Styles, One Direction member, has been cast in the film. This film is about the evacuation of soldiers in the French army in 1940. It is also directed by Christopher Nolan, who has had many other successful films.

Release Date: 07/21/2017

Hopefully these films do not disappoint when I get to see them. Some of them I will be in line for, others I will just wait until they are on DVD. Here is to a great year or so of new movies!

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Advice To Live By As Told By Bob's Burgers

The Belchers hold the key to a better life.

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.
