After lots of projects and extensive school work, I finally got a break. Missing home can be hard, luckily, I have the pleasure of getting to live close to home. My family and I went to Hendersonville, N.C. These pictures are just a couple of shots from the trip. Altogether, the trip was exhausting, and I realized how one incident can really put a dampening on one's trip. The excursion only had one bright side to me, and that was being able to spend time with my family away from school.
Here's a small summary on my little adventure. First stop was a thrift shop that benefited meals on wheels. I was able to find a small storage crate that was converted into a rolling seat with a cushion upholstered with a type of burlap material. Next, we went to another thrift shop benefiting the humane society. Let's just say my dog loved it there. Then, my family and I went to Historic Downtown Hendersonville. There, I got so awesome shots of buildings and some more trinkets. I also ate at a place called Mike's on Main. Let's just say it put a small damper on things, but I chock it up to a bad day in the kitchen or being understaffed. Our waitress took care of us, though. After eating, we walked around more, got coffee, and then went home. Long day coming to a close with popcorn and a movie.
Enjoy the pics!
