The Star Wars hype is definitely real right now. The almost four-decade-old franchise is famous for its devoted fanbase. And with Star Wars: The Force Awakens arriving in a month, fans have never been more rabid. Every little detail or set photo that gets released is met with intense speculation from fans. The production team is pulling out all the stops to prevent leaks of the movie from reaching the public, so that everyone sees it when it comes to theaters. But, there is one fan who might want to see it more than anyone else.
This is Daniel Fleetwood, a big Star Wars fan who was diagnosed with aggressive soft tissue cancer. His doctor gave him only one to two months to live on September 1, and The Force Awakens doesn't come out until December 18th. His dying wish is to be able to see the new movie. Fellow Star Wars fans on reddit and Facebook have tried to spread awareness of Daniel's request, but so far, nobody involved in the film has responded.
Please help Daniel fulfill his wish and spread the word! We're all rooting for you Daniel, and remember, the Force will be with you, always.
