Heated tobacco: What are the risks and how can NEAFS be a solution?

In This Article:

Electronic cigarettes or vapes are often considered healthier than conventional cigarettes made from tobacco. But, it turns out that vaping can not solve the issue that regular cigarettes bring.

According to many health experts, cigarettes cause health problems mostly because of the harm from the many toxic chemicals in the natural tobacco leaf. And what makes cigarettes addictive is nicotine. So what will come once we use nicotine to replace cigarettes? Electronic cigarettes were first outbreaking in 2010, and it uses nicotine to meet the tobacco dependency and heat PG VG to produce smoke. While users found that it doesn't feel like smoking tobacco when using a vape. So it failed to try to treat electronic cigarettes or vapes as an alternative to cigarettes.

Therefore, many companies started experimenting with ways to enjoy tobacco and some of them decided on heated tobacco as a solution.

This is like electric cigarettes in general, but here the tobacco is not burned. That's heated! Described by its manufacturers as a "potentially less harmful" product, is it really less dangerous for your health to choose heated tobacco as an alternative? Do we still need a heated tobacco alternative?

Heated tobacco: What risks, what advantages?

Smoking without ruining your health. This is what heated tobacco promises. This recently launched device would reduce the levels of toxic substances by 90 to 95% compared to a conventional cigarette. The promise has something to seduce.

There are many brands that offer this format, usually in the form of a pen filled with tobacco. While vaping does not generally transfer the elements of tobacco, heated tobacco, as the name implies, does transfer the elements of tobacco. The difference is that it is heated, not burned.

What is the working principle?

The working principle is quite simple; the tobacco is heated to a certain temperature, but it should be noted that heated tobacco is a kind of hybrid product that is "located" between ordinary cigarettes and electronic cigarettes. Basically, it is considered the next development of the very popular electronic cigarette in recent years. Heated tobacco does not produce smoke and therefore does not transfer the harmful substances that result from burning tobacco. This is a fact but needs to be criticized.

Heat rather than burn

According to tobacco companies, it is combustion, more than tobacco or nicotine, that is harmful to health. These new devices for consuming tobacco, therefore, have, according to them, the advantage of simply heating, and not burning, the tobacco.

The recipe is obviously kept under industrial secrecy. But what is certain is that the refills of heated tobacco devices contain real tobacco. The principle is quite simple: rather than burning the tobacco, it is a question here of heating it to less than 300 degrees on average against 800 to 900 degrees ordinarily. This prevents combustion and potentially significantly reduces health risks, according to its producers.

Tar like cigarettes

Heated tobacco contains many toxic compounds. Combustion rhymes with the production of carbon monoxide, tar, nitrosamine, cadmium, polycyclic hydrocarbons, or even mercury… So many substances (contained in smoke) make smoking the leading cause of premature death in the world.

To say that their product is smokeless is false. We are in the smoke. Combustion or pyrolysis, it doesn't matter: this device generates carbon monoxide and, therefore, tar, like conventional cigarettes, contrary to what manufacturers are trying to convince.

A product to create nicotine addiction?

According to some pulmonologists, heated tobacco is just as addictive and dangerous as tobacco. Even without combustion, tobacco contains carcinogens classified as such by the World Health Organization.

Heated tobacco works to provide addictive nicotine shots. This new device is consumed very quickly and taking more than ten puffs in just a few minutes leads to nicotine peaks that contribute to creating and maintaining addiction.

The aim of the heated tobacco producers is to force people to take nicotine peaks in five minutes, it is a way of making people dependent if they are new users. And to keep addicted smokers at a high level of nicotine if they were already addicted before that. It, therefore, does not currently seem that heated tobacco has taken a significant place on the markets, which is good news. This practice nevertheless remains to be monitored and studied in order to counter the misinformation of the tobacco industry.

With NEAFS, people have a great alternative!

Why? Because NEAFS provides a pleasant alternative for those who want to get rid of tobacco dependence but do not want to lose the pleasure they feel when they inhale tobacco essence. NEAFS is a brand of heated cigarettes that, although working in principle with heated tobacco, also has one distinguishing characteristic. NEAFS products do not contain tobacco at all and use tea leaves instead. In general, NEAFS is in the middle of vaping and heated tobacco.

Instead of using tobacco leaves, NEAFS uses a mixture of tea leaves steeped in nicotine and various flavors. Yes, NEAFS heating sticks do come in two options; with nicotine and without nicotine, but both are free from burning tobacco. There is a clear difference between nicotine and tobacco! What is heated is only premium tea leaves with or without nicotine mix.

The NEAFS Stick is compatible with many devices and by its working principle, it eliminates the release of toxins that occur when cigarettes are burned. With NEAFS technology, users can still enjoy the delicious elements of tobacco without exposing themselves to the dangers of the tobacco itself. It can be concluded that NEAFS has created a new heating technology that can bring its users into a completely new smoking experience and of course relatively safe.

Broadly speaking, there are four benefits resulting from consuming NEAFS cigarettes:

1. No tobacco is used.

2. No harmful burning.

3. No tar.

4. There is no unpleasant odor that is usually produced from burning tobacco.

Today, NEAFS is one of the elements supporting what is being called "a smoke-free Britain."

Is it possible to enjoy NEAFS cigarettes without nicotine?

Yes, it's possible because NEAFS provides nicotine-free heating sticks. That means the user is not exposed to tobacco elements at all. As for users who are still in the "transformation period." However, it is much more convenient than regular smoking and vaping. Once again, NEAFS products are not meant to replace tobacco dominance (come on, that's impossible!) but as an alternative for those who want to quit smoking tobacco.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
