Heartbreak is something that no one ever wants to face, but it is something that everyone does face. I never wanted to feel that awful pain like I did recently. It isn't easy, but it does get better. You are so much stronger than what you think. Yes, he might find someone else, but that doesn't mean that you won't. There is someone out there that wants your love and will try everything to make you happy. Heartbreak is one of the worst pains that you can ever feel. It is hard for a very long time, but you will be okay. Life gets better and easier, it just takes time. I had to learn that the hard way.

That one guy you thought for sure you was going to marry, sometimes isn't the one. The one that is might be some guy that you have never ever met. It is okay to cry and cry and cry. Crying does not show weakness, it shows that you actually cared. If he acts like he does not care, he more than likely does. Most guys don't want the girl to know that they are hurting also. Showing that you are hurting is not a bad thing either. Showing that you are hurting means that you actually cared about him and your relationship.

Don't you worry, one day, he will realize what he done. I know you tried to make him happy, even if no one else noticed that. No one cared about him more than you did. You still care about him now and that is okay. He probably does still care about you too. One day he will get with someone else and it will hurt so bad that you just want to cry. But honey, it is his loss, don't you worry. It's hard to see him with someone else besides you. Seeing them together will make you wish it was you, but it isn't. Yes, that is terrible, but it isn't anything you can fix. It will get better, it just takes time.

Trust me about all of this, I have been through it all.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
