Sweets can be a hard thing to balance. We all get that sugar rush when we seriously need a sweet fix. Whether it be at 11:00 a.m. in morning or 10:00 p.m. at night. However, the problem with sweets is, we don’t always want to have something unhealthy and full of processed sugar.

Although we also can’t ignore this sweet craving. So I guess the question is, “What do we do”?

By scrolling through food blogs and cooking websites I have found some delicious healthier dessert recipes. These recipes are great alternatives from traditional desserts. These are the foods that I like to make when I need something sweet, delicious, but also healthy.

Many Celebrities have jumped on this trend of healthy baking. For instance, Karlie Kloss is an advocate for healthy baking. On her Youtube channel, she takes traditional sweets and makes healthier versions of them. Many of her recipes are dairy-free, gluten-free, and sugar-free.

The two recipes I have below are two of Karlie Kloss’s healthy cookie recipes. Both are vegan, gluten free, dairy free, and have zero added sugar. Oh, and did I mention they are absolutely delicious. So next time you need a sweet fix but don’t want something unhealthy, try making either of these!

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
