Eating healthy is hard. Temptations are literally everywhere and every time you say you're going to start eating right, two days into it you give up. Not only is eating healthy hard, but it's super boring. Sorry, I don't want a salad for every meal, and yes I want cheese, lots and lots of cheese. Honestly, if I could survive on carbs and coffee, I would. However, there are some alternatives for everyday foods that taste pretty good! Here are a couple recipes that anyone can make!
1. Cauliflower Crust Pizza
Yes, you can in fact substitute the crust of pizza for cauliflower, and it tastes pretty good too! Replacing the flower with cauliflower reduces the carbs that you'd be eating, and its gluten free! Plus this recipe is loaded with protein. Find the recipe here! http://www.hungry-girl.com/recipe-makeovers/show/healthy-cauliflower-crust-pizza-recipe
2. Baked Donuts
I think I love donuts more than I love life. The only problem is that I would never allow myself to eat them because they're literally the worst food you can eat. However, some creative genius answered my prayers and came up with this magical recipe: baked donuts. There are multiple recipes and flavors to choose from, ranging as low as 191 calories. 3. Ice Cream
I have done an entire article on this stuff before and ill continue to live by it. 240 calories per pint, 60 calories per serving and it tastes like heaven. Packed with protein and less than half the sugars of other brands, you need to try this stuff for yourself. It's available in stores and for more information, find their website here! http://www.halotop.com
4. Chips
I've eaten family sized bags of chips in one sitting while watching T.V. too many times to count. They're addicting and you cannot just have one. They aren't very filling so you can just keep eating them. There are tons of healthy alternatives for regular potato chips such as sweet potato chips, whole wheat tortilla chips, apple chips, banana chips and more. 5. Pancakes
Two ingredient banana pancakes. Yes, I said two ingredients. I don't think it gets much easier than this. Literally two eggs and a banana, then you're good to go! You get four to five pancakes for under 300 calories, and it takes around 10 minutes to make.
