New Year's resolutions are coming up! Most people vow to go to the gym and eat healthier. So I've come up with some little ways to be healthier that'll actually stick!
1. Go to sleep earlier
I swear it helps! I make an attempt every night to go to sleep at the same time and wake up at the same time every day. If I'm caught up on homework I set an alarm to make sure I don't stay up past my bedtime.
2. Make healthy food swaps
It's okay to indulge once in a while. But, a donut a day is not exactly healthy. Substitute junk food for fruits and vegetables. But make sure not to deprive yourself!
3. Make time for yourself
It's easy to get caught up on the daily grind of life. Sometimes it's best to give yourself a break and go for a walk or read a book for a little bit just to relax and make time for yourself.
4. Drink more water
I've made a huge effort to start drinking more water. But, I've found that when I started drinking more water I felt less fatigued and had more energy.
5. Trade in soda for seltzer
Seltzer is a healthy alternative to soda that does not have aspartame!
