In the age of technology, the first assumption from the title can be to find comfort through some piece of hardware that will show you pictures of old ass friends who basically have no connection with us anymore. Let’s take it back to the classics. This is not a piece of technology or hardware, but more so, it is a piece of headwear made from the finest most comfortable material that the English have adopted- cashmere.

Understandably so, we have adopted the name cashmere from the origin country of Kashmir which founded this specific textile industry from the use of a very specific Pashmina goat in Nepal. These goats produced the softest wool products that came to be known as pashmina.

A Pashmina scarf not only is a great looking addition to any raver's wardrobe, it is actually one of the single greatest purchases I have ever made. The Persian translation from the word pashmina means “made from wool," but literally translates to “soft gold” in the original language. The feel of the textile liquid gold, except it is not some sh*tty fake cheese *cough cough*velveeta. This stuff, Pashmina, is the real f*ckin deal.

The coolest thing about this, in my opinion, is that the pashmina scarf is so versatile and can be worn with a plethora of outfits, that I think it should be added to every raver’s wardrobe. The feeling of putting it on over your head or around your shoulders literally will send chills down your spine as you’ve never felt something quite like this. Almost a return to womb as you’re encompassed by a gentle later of silky smooth cloth that will teleport you in to the clouds right above. It is like you are observing a cotton candy maker fill your body with that very fluff of the cotton candy as it swirls enchantingly around you.

There is a list of about 20 different ways to wear this item and each one will give you your own way to express this very item. If you like to wear something, for instance heady hoodies or the spirit hoodies (aka animal hoods), then this is truly going to be a great product. You feel as if you’re in your own world and these shawls are much bigger and longer than you may think, so I’ve invited friends grooving around me to join me in the cloud as it proves to be a great tepee or meeting spot haha. This is something that I have found that will help calm your nerves, relax yourself, and transport you in to another world of comfort all while not seeking some faux personal gain from some fake piece of tech.

As we grow continuously involved with media and building simulated connections with people we’ll most likely never see, such as the social media realm, it is so wonderful to reconnect with yourself and make yourself most comfortable. That’s why I recommend checking out some Pashmina scarfs at your next festival. Although there is a markup at the festival, there is such a special feeling by getting to pick one out while you’re there in the flesh. Or check out Amazon where they will have every type of pashmina you can probably find. Just make sure it says that the product is made of 100% cashmere or it will not be of the same quality. Very important that it is a genuine pashmina or cashmere scarf. Frankly with this one, I just wanted to pass on a word in good faith. To buy this thing. You can find great Pashmina scarfs for less than $20 on the web and these will satisfy the conditions of being made from pure cashmere. The true SoftGold.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
