When you know, you know.

We always see articles or magazine covers: “How To End A Toxic Relationship” “10 Signs Your In A Bad Relationship” or “How You Know He Is Not The One For You.” However, it is rare that we see things like “How You Know You Have Found Your Person” or “10 Signs You Found Your Other Half.” So let me ask you have you found your soul mate? There are a few qualities that a significant other should have for you to know they are the one for you. Find a guy who supports you and motivates you to reach your dreams. When your goals fall a little too short, he is there to help you get back on your feet again. He has a contagious smile and when he laughs you laugh. He has to be the best secret keeper. You two can just sit and talk about anything and everything until 2 A.M. You have fun together no matter what you are doing as long as you’re doing it together. He is the first person you want to tell when something bad or good happens to you. This man is kind, caring, and always puts you and your needs before his own, like saving the last slice of pizza for you. Make sure he loves his Momma because that’s how he is going to treat you someday. If he is the one he will be loyal and trust worthy. Find somebody that loves adventure and wants to try new things with you. Don’t fall into a “routine relationship” where you are bored of doing the same things all the time. Find the type of relationship where you have no idea where the day is going to take you two. You two could have plans to go to dinner and a movie, then next thing you know you wind up spending the entire day having food fights in the kitchen chasing each other around the house. Somebody who is spontaneous and that will continue to surprise you with his charm. Obviously, he has to be gentleman; opens the door for you and helps you carry the groceries in. He must be respectful and treat you like a lady. If he values family and has good morals he’s a keeper. Most people think that the “person” for them is somebody they have a lot in common with but that is not the case. Find somebody who is completely different than you, it keeps life entertaining and different. You can learn from each other and help each other grow. If he is the one he will know you better than you know yourself. Someone you feel so comfortable with you could even pee with the door open or shove your face with food. He knows how to make you happy even when you are at your worst. He knows your ticklish spots and your soft spots. Of course I have to be cliché and corny for a minute, he obviously has to give you butterflies and fireworks. Someone that still makes you feel like a little kid. When you kiss its still like the first time all over again. He still makes you excited and anxious to see him. His friends and family become your friends and family. He shows you off and is proud to call you his girl. So now that me ask you a question, does the guy you were thinking about the whole time while reading this have all of those qualities? If the answer is yes, you have found your forever best friend and if I were you I would never let him go.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."
