You legitimately want to go EVERYWHERE.
A stroll through the halls of the Louvre? Traversing Teotihuacan? Oh I know, climbing the seven summits. Every destination beckons to you, trying to lure you in. At one point or another, you'll wonder how much of the world you can see if you just travelled for the rest of your life.

If you see a new place, you'll think about booking a flight there.
I discovered the Lofoten Islands a few months ago and have been dying to go ever since. It doesn't matter that there's nothing to do there, but there's so many amazing sights to see and people to meet.
You see some weird sh*t...
Above are the famous Sailing Stones of California's Death Valley. These stones are known to move across the floor of the valley without human or animal intervention, a phenomenon that until recently remained a mystery.
And catch your breath at some amazing sights
Try spending an evening riding through the Waitomo Glowworm Caves in New Zealand. The world has so many amazing places you wouldn't believe exist, too bad we can't visit all of them.
You are constantly reminded of how expensive it is to travel.
But it is 110% worth every penny.
You get a teensy bit jealous when people go places you haven't been before.
Oh no it's fine, just go without me...
Your friends think you're insane
"Why would you want to spend that much time on a plane", "But its so hot/cold there" "Just work for the State Department if you want to travel so much", and the classic "Why do you always want to go away from here?" These sedentary haterade consumers don't get that you are a modern day adventurer.
Part of the fun is the amazing photos you get to take.
All of your friends are freaking out and you get to play it down to make it that much cooler. Just chilling in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower, it's only a casual Friday guys.
You get great shopping deals.
Most of the places you go will have better prices than American stores, so you might as well stock up!
The people you meet make the destination even better.
The most beautiful part of travel is getting to know new people. You begin to see that although we come from different places and speak different languages, we aren't that different. The kindness of locals will truly leave you speechless, they want to welcome you to their homeland and end up making an indelible mark on your journeys.
Travel; it expands our horizons and opens us to different customs and new people. For those of us struck with wanderlust, our lives revolve around the chance to climb new mountains (literally), and glimpse a greater portion of the world than most. Being like this is a blend of treats and limitations, the ethereal and the substantial. On one hand, you want to be swept away to newer exotic lands, but that is not always possible. For those of us fortunate enough to travel, our lives will be forever changed by the sights we see and people who have touched our voyages.
