Growing up with a lot of siblings is tricky. Everyone can be so different from one another and you can never tell what's going to happen. There are many pros and cons of having them. Little siblings can be fun, but being one can be hard.

Being in completely different stages in your life.

You're planning prom and he's planning his wedding. You're babysitting some kids and he’s planning to have kids. It’s weird.

You can both talk about your problems.

He’s always there. No matter what.

You’re going to protect each other more than your parents do.

He will never like any guy you're with and vice versa. He’ll watch out for you and make sure you don't make the same mistakes as he did.

You get to see whatever movie you want.

He can get you into R-rated movies and you're his excuse to go to chick flicks. It’s simple.

You can teach each other things.

You’ll learn everything you need to know for geometry from him and he’ll learn the style skills he needs to not dress like an old man.

You see eye to eye even though he’s a lot older.

Things have changed a lot since he was your age but you grew up together and learned everything you know from each other. Its different in some aspects but not all.

You'll never get away with anything.

Mom has seen it all, she knows. Don't even try.

You get tired of each other really easy.

Getting on each other nerves is a specialty of yours. You know the little things to make them angry. It's funny, honestly, but you miss each other the next day.

There is no one you will ever appreciate more. They are your first friends and they help you through everything. You can’t trade them, but why would you want to? Your siblings do everything for you and you are so grateful.
