What It's Like Having A Boyfriend/Husband In The Army

It's something many women experience, and that is having a boyfriend or husband in the Army. It has its challenges, but it also has its rewards. You experience ups, downs, pros, and cons, but it's all worth it! Having a significant other in the Army is an experience unlike any other.

There's a lot more to having an Army boyfriend/husband than just the amazing surprise homecomings. First, he has to get deployed and stay 9 months to a year over there. It can be scary. You worry a lot about him and his safety when he's there, especially because you won't have a lot of communication during that time. There are a lot of things that Army men have to go through to be the amazing soldier that they are. They'll be gone for drill once a month, and have a two week annual training. At times, it could be tough to make plans because you'll have to work around the Army schedule. There are also days where your man will be very tired from drill and Army workouts, and he might want to just chill at home for the night or go to bed early. You just have to work around that, and that's okay.

That's because all of that right there is worth it.

Having a boyfriend or husband in the Army means that you will have the best protection around! He knows how to defend himself and his country, and he'll definitely defend the woman he loves. He will be very loyal. Men in the Army are very committed to their country and their unit, so he knows the true meaning of being loyal and committed to a woman. He will have a lot of respect. He will have respect for you and everyone he meets. Just remember, if things get tough, he's doing all of this to protect not only his country, but the woman he loves because he doesn't want anybody to hurt you. So if you're thinking of whether or not you should start dating someone in the Armed Forces, you should definitely give it a try. He will be the most loving, caring, loyal, and respectful man you'll know!

Thank You on wooden blocks

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
