If you haven't started watching FX's new show, Legion, yet, you NEED to start! I heard about this show from a friend of mine and I quickly devoured the first four episodes. Legion is a TV show based on the Marvel Legion comics. The show is about David Haller, a man who has been told all his life that he has schizophrenia. In the first episode, you see David in a mental hospital and the show immediately takes off from there. This show keeps your constant interest and is really fun to watch because of the way that it is filmed. I don't want to give anything else away if you haven't seen it yet! So below, I have decided to make a list of five reasons that everyone should watch the show! I hope that they make you want to check Legion out because it is totally worth it.

Five Reasons to watch Legion

1. It is based off of a Marvel comic book series

This show is based on the Marvel Legion comic series, but it is important to know that it is a visual adaptation. If you are familiar with the comic series I REALLY think that you should watch the show because you will most likely enjoy seeing the adaptation. I'm embarrassed to say that I am not familiar with the comics but, the show is so great that I am now interested in reading them. Either way, watching the show is a win for you and you should check it out.

2. The Filming

The filming of this show is extremely cool. This is one of my favorite visualizations in the show so far. Once you start watching, you will know what I mean by visualizations. It is amazing what they can do in movies and tv now! This show is visually interesting and very intense. I promise you will love it!

3. The Cast

This is not a picture of the entire cast of the show, but it is a picture of my three favorite characters (haha). The show is about David Haller (pictured above) played by Dan Stevens, his girlfriend Syd Barrett played by Rachel Keller, and David's drug addict friend Lenny Buskers played by Aubrey Plaza. I love these three characters because I feel like they are very well cast and there is so much mystery surrounding them. Every episode leaves you wanting to know more about them!

4. The 60's

This show is really fun to watch because it has a modern 1960's vibe to it. You can see this through some of the characters clothing (like David's sister, Amy, on the left above) and through some of the details of the different settings where the show takes place. Visually, this show is really beautiful to watch because of the rich colors in the scenery and specific ways that it was filmed.

5. The Director

Maybe it's only me (haha) but I love looking to see who has directed a movie or TV show that I love. I am fascinated to learn about directors when it comes to their specific way that they like to tell a story, and Noah Hawley is a very interesting director! If you have seen the FX TV show Fargo, an adaptation of the movie, then you have already seen Noah's work. Legion is another adaptation that he is currently doing. I really like Noah Hawley's adaptations because he always makes them his own and in a way, that adds to the story.

I hope my article has made you want to watch Legion! It is awesome and you should give it a try! Thanks for reading!

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
