" Hamilton" is all the rage so I thought it was good timing

For me to step in and take over the rhyming.

I made a list of things you may not know

About Usnavi-Alexander. Let's get on with the show.

1. Wesleyan Grad

Mr.Miranda graduated from Wesleyan University.

Hmm...I wonder, was he in a fraternity?

This is where he met Bill Sherman and Tommy Kail.

Together, we have a power team that doesn’t fail.

While at the school he put on the first production of "In the Heights."

The school knows, like we know, this man is pretty bright.

2. "21 Chump Street"

Yes, you read that right: "21 Chump Street."

He wrote a 14-minute musical, and laid down a few beats.

The show can now be found on Youtube.

I promise it’s cooler than cool, just like an ice cube.

3. "Bring It On"

Lin-Manuel was the co-lyricist and co-composer

On "Bring It On: The Muscial." He breaks it down like a decomposer.

Through song, he teaches us to “Enjoy the Trip,”

With high-flying hits and double, triple flips.

4. "The Polar Bears"

I’m sure you have seen the Coca-Cola polar bears.

Now you can see them and hear Lin right from your chair.

Miranda voiced bear Jak in the 2012 short movie.

Lin does it all. He tackles every duty.

5. "Sesame Street"

Lin did some work with Big Bird and Snuffy,

Writing songs, making kids not huffy and puffy.

He is seen in the premiere of episode 40.

Last name Flapman. First name Freddy.

6. "How I Met Your Mother"

If you know anything about Miranda it’s that he can rhyme.

Even in "How I Met Your Mother" with stories for bedtime

Season nine, episode 11.

This man is a genius, sent right from heaven.

7. "Freestyle Love Supreme"

Improv rap is what’s going down, son

Not only Lin-Manuel, but also Chris Jackson.

But the shows have been postponed

Since "Hamilton" is in the zone.

8. "Legally Brown: The Musical"

With "In the Heights," we fell in love with Piragua Guy.

Well, in these videos a few other guys will step in and apply

Go on Youtube and look it up. You will laugh and have a lot of fun.

Broadway stars are in it like Norm Lewis and Matthew Morrison.

9. Wedding Flashmob

In 2010, Lin-Manuel got married

To Vanessa, down the aisle with flowers she carried.

He did a flashmob for her at the reception.

In was pretty amazing in my perception.

(It’s on YouTube!)

10. "Bigger"

Back in 2013, Lin strung another chord.

He and Kitt wrote the opening for the Tony Awards.

Starring Neil Patrick Harris and a hundred broadway performers,

The song won an Emmy Award, guess it had a lot of supporters.

If you want to know more, I attached his website.

Oh, and his Twitter. Follow him. He’s out-of-sight!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

winter

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
