I Am A Millennial Female Who Doesn't Like Pumpkin Spice Lattes

I have a confession to make. I am a 22-year-old female who does not love Pumpkin Spice Lattes. PSL is an epidemic that has consumed the holiday seasons and I cannot get on the bandwagon.

I love pumpkin bread and pumpkin pie, but I like my coffee to taste like coffee. Coffee is used to wake me up not to get my daily dose of vegetables. Vegetables in the same family as cucumbers and squash do not belong in a coffee. They belong on a dinner or dessert plate.

Pumpkin Spice Lattes are just an excuse for people who do not like coffee to take a cute Instagram picture that is fall themed with a Starbucks cup in hand. I will admit every girl has their “ do it for the insta” moments, but please stop with the PSL.

Let coffee be coffee. Try it without the pumpkin flavoring you may like it better. I know I do!
