The legendary Queen Mary Ship has interested me for quite some time thanks to YouTubers, and BuzzFeed Unsolved (Shout to Ryan and Shane, ultimate faves). BuzzFeed Unsolved covered the ship, and like usual Ryan was freaked because of how haunted the ship is.
Queen Mary was built in the United Kingdom during the 1930s to serve as a high-end luxury boat to make it's voyage from the UK to the United States. Queen Mary served not only to the luxurious people but transported troops during 1939-1946, then reclaimed her world-class ocean ship status after the war and made her last voyage in the year 1960.
Queen Mary now resides in Long Beach, California where people can tour, and stay overnight hoping to find some paranormal activity.
With over more than 150 known spirits roaming the ship, Queen Mary is one of the most haunted places in the world. Along with the people who died on the ship whether during the war or during its voyage, there have been 50 reported deaths on the ship over the past 60 years, so yeah it's no surprise that it's possibly haunted.
The most haunted level, B deck is one of the most haunted floors of the ship. People and staff have reported hearing noises, strange feelings, apparitions of ghosts, and overall having a creepy feeling during their time on the ship.
Room B340, the most haunted room throughout the entire ship has been removed from daily tours, room marker has been down and the door has been sealed shut twice because of how much activity has been reported there.
It's been rumored that before the room was sealed off, overnight guests have died in there or experience near-death-like experiences in the room.
On Sam and Colby's YouTube Channel they uploaded a few videos during their stay on the ship and even had a few experiences around B340. The boys knocked on the door and heard someone breathing heavily, unknown noises and got a knock back. And they also played with an Ouija board at 3 a.m. outside of it, so you know extra creepy.
And, the boys' friend Moe who is also a YouTuber, knocked on the door and started having a panic attack right afterward and had a mark on the side of his neck.
In the other rooms , guests have reported to waking up and seeing ghosts next to their bed watching them sleep, lights in the cabins turning on and off, shaking of the beds, phones off the hook, and overall strange noises preventing them from sleeping well through the night.
Another haunted place is the first-class swimming pool. It's rumored that a five-year-old girl named Jackie drowned in the pool. People have heard giggling, singing and anything that can taunt visitors.
And one last place I would like to cover in the engine room is door 13. The further you travel in Queen Mary, the more paranormal activity picks up. Supposedly, an 18-year-old boy named John was near door 13 and was crushed to death by a steel seal. John reportedly patrols the area and disappears around the door still.
Queen Mary isn't for the easily frightened people, (at myself since I can't even make it through a scary movie), but if you happen to find yourself in Long Beach, California I would definitely check the ship out.
And if you're more like me who gets scared easily, just go during the day, less time for the ghosties to be out haunting us (hopefully).
