Long Hair Problems

Hating Loving Long Hair

Many Men and Women around the world love long hair, it frames their face, looks incredible, and has many pros. Nonetheless long hair comes with its cons. Here are four things only people with long hair understand.

1) Hair Hungry Seat Belts

Every person who has sported long hair has one time or another gotten it caught in that voracious seat belt and even worse maybe lost a chunk of locks to the vicious contraption. Only people who have long hair can commiserate with how dreadfully painful it is to have it yanked by the ridiculous mechanics of the belt.

2) The Spider legs

If you have long hair you have probably experienced this little delight of a time before. Say you are going out on a beautiful sunny day. You are walking along the sidewalk in the park and all of a sudden, a lite breeze sweeps over you causing your hair to dance gracefully through the air, that is until its attacks your face like an angry spider with a billion legs.

3) Thieving arms

This is one for people with especially long hair. You are finally back home from a long day of work. You are ready to collapse onto your couch and eat a quart of ice cream while watching Game of Thrones and the moment you go to relax into the welcoming arms of you couch your hair gets stuck in between your arm and body and gets viciously yanked from your unsuspecting skull.

4) Lying Conditioner

This one is definitely one that can be infuriating and cost you some money in the long run. Supposedly all you need is a nickel size amount of conditioner when washing your hair. But not for someone with long hair, people with long hair practically have to flood their hand with conditioner to get it through their entire head of hair evenly.

Even though long hair has its annoying and sometimes painful cons we will always love it. Enjoy your week and Happy Easter.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
