Lets stop with the "Donald Trump will ever be my fucking president" tattoos, becasue lets face it, as much as we didn't or wanted him to be our next president, he is, so it's time to accept it. This article isn't written in a democratic, republican, pro Trump, or pro Hillary voice; becasue at this point in time we all have to deal with how people voted, right? So this letter is to you America, it's to the people burning down cities, doing peaceful protests, violent protests, and to the ones who are racist beyond belief. We all live in America, the best damn country with the most patriotism, and lets start acting like it. This might seem like a whole lot of common sense to you folks, but how citizens have been behaving, common sense has flown out the window a while ago.

When did we turn into animals, my god. Donald Trump has attacked Muslims, Latinos, Women, the middle class, the lower class, African Americans, homosexuals, trans-genders, okay lets face it basically every group of citizens America has. He companied like an asshole, yes. But when did that give us the right to attack each other? When has it ever been okay for white people to attack black people on college campuses, when has it been okay to set cars on fire, or bring guns to protests, or even lash out and try to right the wrong they think America committed.

We are apart of a DEMOCRATIC government, we are not a dictatorship, we are not totalitarian, we do not have to listen to one person on how to live our lives. Donald Trump will not ruin this country single handedly, did we forget how many people have to approve things before they even reach Trump? Or how about how many things the President can not do with their single belief? The people rule this beautiful country, and yes, a lot of people can not wrap their head around the fact that a reality TV star became our president, but a lot of things could be said about Hillary as well. With that aside, I think we can all agree this election sucked, the candidates who ran were a joke, but it's not up to Donald Trump to make America great again, it's up to us, the American Citizens.

If you voted for Trump, voted for Hillary, or didn't even vote, that doesn't give a single person the right to act better than another, perform racists acts upon another, or have violent protests with in a community that could really injure someone. America is a free and top ranked country becasue of the diversity, and the blood shed that was put forth by our militia. People would have complained either way, regardless what candidate was elected. But what I don't understand America, is that why are fighting each other? Why are we killing each other, making each other feel bad based on where we came from? Becasue one man told us it was okay, or that it wasn't? Because the person we did or didn't vote for became our president, so now we feel entitled?

I am an upper class white female but I will be judged upon my writings becasue people will believe "she's had no hardships", I will be told my article does not matter, I will be told to shut my mouth and do something better. That muslim woman wearing a hijab will be looked at, people will scream bomb at her, people will belittle her, and make her feel unwelcome. The african american boy walking down the street will be interrogated by a cop becasue his pants are too low or his pockets look full, or because he just seems sketchy. That gay couple will be laughed out of the bar while people scream "You're going to Hell!" These people are you, they are me. These people that are belittling each other, these people that are making it so hard for some race and religious people to live their every day lives.

No one is better than anyone, I promise you that. So instead of walking around thinking you are the best damn thing God put on this earth, why don't we come together, why don't we work together to make America Great Again. It's starts with US. Not a man that we put into office. it starts with the American Citizen. You live in the best damn country, so why don't we start acting like it.

In case you're unaware, "resting bitch face" is the term used to describe when a person's natural, expressionless face makes it look like they are mad at the world. Whether they are walking down the street or simply spacing out thinking about what to eat for dinner, it's very easy for others to assume that this person is either upset or mad at them. Because of this, those of us with Resting Bitch Face (RBF), and especially us women, have all experienced many of the same situations and conversations, including:

We've all had a crush before. Whether it leads to something or nothing, the process has all been the same. The awkward feelings, the stalking, and the stress of trying to keep this huge secret. The feeling of becoming a total spazz is something that cannot be avoided, and the most spazzy family that can relate to this feeling is the Belcher's.

At the tender age of 18, we are bestowed with the title of “adult.” For 17 years, we live under the rules and guidelines of our parents, school, and government, and to stray from any of those rules or guidelines marks us as a rebel. At 18, though, we must choose which college we want to go to or what career we want. We are allowed and encouraged to vote. We can buy lottery tickets and cigarettes. We can drop out of school, leave our household, and do other "adult" things. At 18, we start down a path of thinking for ourselves, when for the entirety of our lives other institutions have been mandated to think and do for us.

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.
