I literally bought my tickets for Harry's 2018 world tour the day they came out, June 15th, 2017. By the time the show finally rolled around I had had the tickets for 380 days, that's ridiculous honestly. But I'm the biggest Harry Styles fan so this level of obsession is to be expected. I've been a One Direction fan since late 2012, early 2013 and I'm not gonna lie, the band's hiatus has been very hard for me, but seeing solo One Direction has been a good placeholder until they come back.
Harry started his first solo world tour last September, took a break in December, and then started things back up in March of this year making, even more, stops for his fans. I was one of the very few lucky fans who were able to see him on his 2017 tour so I knew what kind of content to expect for the 2018 tour and I was excited.

On this tour he performed more songs, he added another old 1D song, as well as two unreleased songs that didn't make his first album. *Harry if you're reading this: release "Medicine" and "Anna" you coward.* He also came to a MUCH larger Chicago venue this summer. In 2017 he played at the Chicago Theatre which had a capacity of 3,600, but this year he played at the United Center which holds 23,500 excited concert goers. Harry was a part of One Direction which played Soldier Field twice to hundreds of thousands of people over two years but when he saw all 23,000 of us on June 30th, he was speechless. We were so happy to see him and so excited to hear him play.
Harry was wearing a beautiful custom Gucci suit for us, personally I was sad he wasn't wearing glitter but I guess I'll get over it. This suit was made of a rose-colored checkered fabric with a black trim and he paired his overly flared pants with some Gucci black leather boots. The next day, he posted a pic of him in a custom red Chicago Bulls jersey that left us all shook.

Harry played all 10 songs from his first album, three One Direction covers (r.i.p.), his two new unreleased songs, an Ariana Grande cover of "Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart" which he wrote, and then a cover of "The Chain" by Fleetwood Mac. He came to his B stage halfway through the show and that will probably be the closest I will ever be to him. I may or may not have spent the entire concert ugly sobbing because I love Harry with my entire heart but that's fine by me.

I may not know when I will see him again as of right now, but I'm so excited for HS2 and what is to come from our solo king. I was able to see one of my favorite people and artists with two of my closest friends and we looked damn good (before the tears and sweating though). The future of One Direction is still unknown but knowing that Harry is out in the world living his best life, makes me so very happy. Here's to hoping 1D gets back together soon because my wallet is so upset with me right now, oops!
