Harry Potter is literally my absolute favorite thing and with all 7 films being re-released in IMAX this weekend, I thought I'd rank them based on personal preference with a little bit of fidelity to the books mixed in.
1. Prisoner of Azkaban
It's funny, it's fresh, and it's my favorite. That's why it's at #1--Fight me.
2. Sorcerer's Stone
This is the first one and we get to see the little babies forging friendships and tackling monsters. I love it, and it sticks pretty close to the book.
3. Chamber of Secrets
Chamber is a CLASSIC. It gets a bad rap for being boring or whatever, but it's so funny.
4. Goblet of Fire
This scene is UNREAL. I'll never forgive this.
5. Deathly Hallows Part 2
It's the end, and I cried the whole way through. RIP my childhood.
6. Order of the Phoenix
5 isn't bad, but I got pretty bored. The book is much better.
7. Deathly Hallows Part 1
"Hermione's right" is the theme of the entire series, but this movie is so boring.
8. Half-Blood Prince
THIS MOVIE IS A DISGRACE. THE BOOK WAS SO GOOD AND THERE WAS LITERALLY NOTHING THAT TRANSFERRED OVER WELL. WHERE WAS THE HARRY AND GINNY ROMANCE? WHERE WAS THE BATTLE OF HOGWARTS??? WHERE WAS THE FUNERAL???? WHERE WAS THIS BOOK????????????????????????????????
