If you haven't been living under a rock for like the past 20 years then you know how big of a phenomena the Harry Potter movie series was. I will most definitely be obsessed with both the movies and the books for the rest of my life. So here is my ranking of the 8 Harry Potter movies.

8. Prisoner of Azkaban

I love every single Harry Potter film, but one of them has to be my least favorite. The absence of Voldemort and any epic magic dueling scenes puts this film at the bottom of the list for me. The introduction of Sirius Black and explanation of his back story still makes this a great movie.

7. Sorcerer's Stone

The only true fault of this movie is that it was the first of the series and we just didn't know all that much about the Wizarding world. Also the Quidditch scenes are lacking just a little but we can only blame that on the movie being made in 2001. It's a great 1st movie, though, that made millions fall in love with Harry and the gang.

6. Chamber of Secrets

We learn so much about the world of magic in this movie. There's so much suspense and mystery throughout the entire film. Between Harry's parsel tongue ability that links him to Salazar Slytherin and Hagrid's connection to the same events 50 years ago it's hard to tell who can be trusted.

5 & 4. Deathly Hollows: Part 1 & Deathly Hollows: Part 2

The final book of the series is told through two movies so I can't really describe why I love them separately. These movies would be my top picks if it wasn't for the facts that Harry Potter coming to an end and the death of so many amazing characters breaks my heart every time I watch the movies. Both movies are fast paced and incredible, but also too heartbreaking.

3. Half Blood Prince

Harry trying to adjust to life after losing the only chance he ever had at a true family is truly hard to watch, but its real life and honest. This film shows Harry dealing with normal issues such as grief and moving on. Also, learning about Voldemort's past and his creation of horcruxes was to me one of the biggest plot reveals of the series.

2. Order of the Phoenix

The creation of Dumbledore's Army to fight back against who is arguably the worst villain of the whole franchise, Professor Umbridge, is exciting and wonderful. The death of Sirius Black is gut wrenching, but the action scenes at the Ministry of Magic are some of the best in the series.

1. Goblet of Fire

Between the 2 other Wizarding schools, the challenges of the Triwizard Tournament, and the return of Voldemort that is the basis of the storyline for the next 4 movies this film literally has everything I could ask for. It also doesn't hurt that with all of the action only one supporting character dies.

Ranking these movies was much harder than I thought it would be simply because I love this entire series so much. I know every person who has seen the films has different opinions about each one, but this is my ranking of every Harry Potter film.

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Kourtney Kardashian

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
