With J.K. Rowling’s latest release in the Harry Potter franchise, Potterheads everywhere are losing their minds. Not only from the hype of “The Cursed Child” but with the news that she will be releasing three new ebooks online in the future.

Even though Rowling said that “Cursed Child” will not be turned into a movie, hence why it was written as a play, we’ve got “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” coming soon to satisfy our wizarding world needs.

The release date of Fantastic Beasts is listed as November 18, 2016. That means that it’s been over five years since the last Harry Potter film was released. “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2” released to theaters on July 15, 2011. It’s amazing how time flies, isn’t it?

Since filming ended over five years ago, our favorite witches and wizards have been very busy. We watched them grow on screen for ten years, and now we’re watching them grow in their careers past Harry Potter, so where are they?

Daniel Radcliffe

The famous Harry Potter. Daniel has been hitting the movie scene a lot since Harry Potter ended. He’s been featured in more popular films such as “The Woman in Black,” “Horns,” “Trainwreck,” “Victor Frankenstein,” “Swiss Army Man,” and “Now You See Me 2.” He is now 27 years old and residing in Manhattan, New York City, NY.

Rupert Grint

The best friend. Rupert has been working on some smaller projects, including movies and TV movies such as “Into the White,” “Charlie Countyman,” “Underdogs,” “CBGB,” “Super Clyde,” and “Moonwalkers.” He’s currently filming two TV series (“Snatch” and “Sick Note”) and was starred as a voice in “American Dad” back in 2012. Rupert is now 28 years old.

Emma Watson

The smartest witch of her time. Emma not only worked more in the movie scene, but worked hard on her education as well. She starred in movies such as “Perks of Being a Wallflower,” “My Week with Marilyn,” “The Bling Ring,” “This is the End,” and “Noah.” She also graduated from Brown University in 2014. She received the Trailblazer award in 2013 from MTV and has been a spokesperson for woman’s rights and gender equality between projects. She will also be starred as Belle in the upcoming movie “Beauty and the Beast.” Emma is 26.

Tom Felton

Draco Malfoy, the Slytherin Prince. Tom has been involved in some big screen movies, popular TV shows, and smaller projects these past few years. He starred in “Rise of the Planet of the Apes,” and appeared on a few episodes of CW’s “The Flash.” He also starred in “The Apparition,” “Belle,” “Sheep and Wolves,” “Message from the King,” and “Stratton.” He also filmed two TV series (“Full Circle” and “Murder in the First.” Tom has also been working behind the scenes on some music. Tom is 28.

Bonnie Wright

The youngest Weasley. Bonnie has been very under the radar since Harry Potter ended, keeping herself busy with smaller projects and even writing and directing her own short. She has starred in “The Sea,” “After the Dark,” “My Dad is Scrooge,” and “Those Who Wander.” Bonnie is 25.

Matthew Lewis

Neville Longbottom. Matt has been involved with several TV series after Harry Potter. “The Syndicate,” “Death in Paradise,” “Bluestone 42,” “Ripper Street,” and “Happy Valley.” He also starred in a popular film “Me Before You.” Matthew is now 27 years old.

Evanna Lynch

Loony Lovegood. Evanna has been very under the radar as well these past few years, working on smaller projects. She starred in “Sinbad” and “Apex,” two TV shows and worked on movies such as “G.B.F,” “Addiction: A 60’s Love Story,” and “My Name is Emily.” She works with various charities in Ireland and is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Harry Potter Alliance. She is 25.

James and Oliver Phelps

The Twins. James and Oliver have been a bit split up since Harry Potter ended, James working in a few more projects than Oliver, but both of them still working. James worked in “Ward 3,” “Danny and the Human Zoo,” “Patchwork,” and a TV series, “Silent Witness.” Oliver worked in “Ears,” and “Danny and the Human Zoo” along with James. Both boys are now married, Oliver marrying Katy Humpage in 2015, and James marrying Annika Ostle in 2016. They are now 30.

The actors and actresses we watched grow up in front of our very eyes are all grown up now and even though the Harry Potter films are done being released, the magic will never die.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
