This past week, my 5-month-old nephew came to visit for a week. Although he’s definitely the most precious little man you will ever lay your eyes on, he’s teething. Believe it or not, the only thing that gets him to stop crying is Fifth Harmony music videos. I am a proud self-proclaimed Harmonizer myself, so it only makes sense that my nephew is already following in my footsteps. What can I say? Good taste runs in the family.
After watching all 13 of their music videos on repeat for a week straight, I’ve decided to provide you with my official ranking of their videos.
13. Me And My Girls
The song itself is bearable at best. It’s an automatic reflex to hit skip when it comes up on my shuffle and an even quicker reflex to hit next when it popped up on my TV for what felt like the 100thtime that week.
12. Sledgehammer
My heart hurts ranking "Sledgehammer" so low. This song brings back nothing but good memories but the video just doesn’t make sense. The girls are in the dark more than half the time and seriously what’s up with the random unicorn? This song deserved better.
11. Write On Me
Each girl is given equal time on the track. The video and song are cute but there’s not much else to say. All the ladies are seen happily dancing around one another during the chorus while laughing and smiling with one another throughout the choruses.
10. Deliver
This song was one of my favorites off of their most recent self-titled album, but the music video itself is underwhelming. While all the ladies look gorgeous in their strapless black gowns and 50s up-dos, I can’t help but feel like there is something lacking.
9. Down
Other than the visuals for this music video being super colorful and the floor routine being good, this video was more about showing the world that the four remaining members would continue as a four-piece. The lyrics for the song show that despite setbacks, they would be holding each other down and moving forward together.
8. Miss Movin’ On
"Miss Movin’ On" was Fifth Harmony’s first ever music video. The ladies are seen wandering around a carnival after their recent break-ups. I’ll forever belt out the lyrics when this song comes on but there has definitely been major growth within the girl group since this video came out.
7. BO$$
"BO$$" screams girl power. From the way the ladies carry themselves through the video and remind their audience that they are C-O-N-F-I-D-E-N-T, confident, this video is all about the ladies reinforcing their message that women are powerful forces to be reckoned with.
6. He Like That
If I could describe this music video in one word, it would be steamy. Fifth Harmony is seen surrounded by shirtless male dancers and despite being outnumbered, they still have this powerful presence about them throughout the course of the video. Each lady is given an opportunity to show off some serious dance moves with a male partner. Overall this song is an earworm if I’ve heard one.
5. All In My Head
If this music video doesn’t make you want to grab your closes friends and throw a beach party, I don’t know what will. All of the ladies are given equal opportunity to shine in this video and they all look really good even though Lauren’s bathing suit does remind me of a fruit salad. This song had the potential to be the song of the summer when it first came out and the video showcases the songs strong tropical vibes and overall summery vibe to it.
4. Angel
Fifth Harmony is dripping with confidence and serving serious attitude throughout this whole music video. The video gives off the illusion that the ladies of Fifth Harmony are straight out of what can be considered someone’s best dream or worst nightmare depending on how you look at it.
3. Worth It
"Worth It" was playing everywhere at all times when it first came out. This single off of Fifth Harmony’s "Reflection" was arguably what helped to establish Fifth Harmony’s name. Such an iconic song deserves an equally as good music video and Fifth Harmony does not disappoint. The ladies are all dressed in classy business attire and just like the "BO$$" music video, they are seen showing the men exactly who is boss while giving off serious girl power vibes.
2. That’s My Girl
This "Mad Max"-inspired music video shows the ladies of Fifth Harmony swooping in to save a city from what looks like post-war destruction which, let’s face it, sounds pretty awesome. Not only is the video really cool but the song itself is all about getting up, dusting yourself off, and pushing through whatever difficulty you might face. Which is a message we all need to be reminded of every now and again.
1. Work From Home
The song? An iconic bop. The beat is really good and the chorus is one that is guaranteed to be stuck in your head for the rest of the day and you’re not mad about it. The ladies of Fifth Harmony are seen on a construction site taking charge, showing the guys how to get things done, and looking really good while doing it.
