Harambe's Grandmother Passes Away

It is another sad day here in the United States. Harambe's grandmother, Josephine, has passed away at the age of 50.

Zoo Miami told NBC Miami that the gorilla had been dealing with some health issues and peacefully passed away Wednesday afternoon. Officials said that Josephine could not move at all this morning.

Zoo Miami most recently lost Binta, the first gorilla to ever be born at the zoo.

Josephine was also the mother of Moja, who had many offspring, including 17-year-old gorilla Harambe.
