Happy "No Shave November"

Happy "No Shave November"

For most, November means cooler temperatures, colored leaves, football and turkey. For others, it means facial hair.

“No Shave November” is a non-profit organization targeted toward men that is devoted to raising cancer awareness. The idea is that money normally spent on personal grooming (waxing, trimming, salon visits, etc.) can be donated to the American Cancer Society. Men that participate are encouraged to embrace their natural growing hair: something cancer patients often lose.

The no shaving trend is becoming more popular every year, and men of all ages can be found participating. Of course, not all guys may be able to pull off the whole beard thing, but there are definitely some out there that happen to look really great with facial hair.

Here are some celebrities that make ladies everywhere look forward to this shave-less month:

1. Zac Efron

Gone are the clean-shaven High School Musical days. No one is complaining.

2. Ryan Reynolds

Girls everywhere continue to have a love/hate relationship with Blake Lively. November does not help.

 3. Jake Gyllenhaal

Already mysterious, Gyllenhaal takes on an even edgier look when facial hair is added.

4. Ryan Gosling

No one can resist a scruffy Notebook-reminiscent version of Gosling. If you're still a bird, I definitely am too.

5. Leonardo DiCaprio

While his beard may be the least tame out of the bunch, facial hair or not, Leo always makes the cut.

So the next time you complain to your boyfriend that he desperately needs to shave, think of the cause behind the beard… and the eye candy it brings with it. Happy “No Shave November,” ladies.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
