I've always been one of those people that don't have to look far for happiness. I was blessed with that special ability to just see it in people, places, animals, and even certain items. I know that some people have trouble with darkness, and feel that there is no happiness in the world. Here are a couple of reminders that there is so much happiness out there.
Happiness is:
the sun shinning, playing in the rain, eating salty french fries, sleeping on fresh sheets, having your toes in the sand, giving someone a gift and watching their face light up, drinking lemonade, going to a music festival, seeing the first snow of winter, coming home and telling your brother about your day, warm blankets, playing with puppies, kissing someone you love, going hiking, visiting your friend at her new school, holding a baby, putting on an old pair of cleats, napping, eating cotten candy, going to the zoo, watching someone grow, getting ready with your best friend, praying, socks, hammocking, sonic slushies, riding on an airplane, opening new makeup, visiting your grandparents, taking your hair down after a long day, painting, understanding your homework and having an unconditional love.
I could go on and on.
But that's just my list. You have to make your own, and look for small bits of happiness every day. You belong here. You belong on this earth. There are so many people that love you. Just look up, feel the sunshine, pet a dog, and breathe. Every day, you should look at it as one day at a time. You'll get through the darkness and find the path. Just keep going. Don't forget to pray about it.
Happy Monday!
