HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!
It seems that as we get older, we stop doing all the fun seasonal activities that we used to do. Remember when you would get so happy because of all the great Halloween movies would come on Disney? Or when you were so eager to bust out your coolest costume and go trick or treating?
Those were the days! When you could have fun and anticipate for something great. Once you’re older, it’s like you’re too busy with life to even sit and be a kid again. You have work piled up and other grown up responsibilities to worry about.
At one point, i know there will be a time for you to relax or hang out with friends. since it’s Halloween, do something for the season!
So this is for all my teens and young adults who still want to get out and have fun like they’re a kid again. You all listen up!!!
- Plan a scary movie night.
Whether it’s with your “boo” or your friends, get together and watch some movies! There are multiple genres to choose from so that everyone can get in the Halloween spirit! You have the horror films, the legendary halloween Disney movies, and some comedy movies. If you can’t think of anything, turn to AMC, Disney, or Cartoon Network and you’re set.
2. Have a Halloween party.
Get all your friends and their friends to come out and dress up in Halloween spirit! Have a party for the old people! Maybe your guests can bob for apples or play other spooky games. Make sure you have candy, snacks, great music and great people! Oh and don’t forget a colored light, that’s a must have!
3. Check out a haunted house.
I advise you to go in a group or with a big fluffy guy! The thrill of haunted houses or mazes are perfect for this time of the year! Be prepared for endless scares, and make sure you have great running shoes. I always advise to wear a hoodie or something with a hood. I always feel safe with wearing a hoodie, it’s my “magical protector shield."
4. Carve a pumpkin and chill.
Maybe haunted houses or parties aren’t your thing and you just like to chill. Call over a co-worker, friend, or even your “boo” and get in the spirit! Carve pumpkins, bake cookies, watch movies. Or maybe you already had a movie night and you want to try something different. It could be spooky karaoke, hide-and-go seek, video games, ghost stories, anything! Just have fun!
So that’s all! I hope all my lovely teens and young adults are able to enjoy themselves and have some fun this Halloween.
Go be a kid again!
