M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E! On Nov. 18, Mickey Mouse will celebrate his birthday making him 88 years old. As the mascot of Walt Disney world and the most recognizable character in the world, he has changed a many times of the course of his 88 years of existence. He first made his debut in 1928 in Steamboat Willie, one of the first sound cartoons. Some of his accomplishments including being the first cartoon character to have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and appearing in over 130 films.

Mickey Mouse has brought laughter and smiles to so many through movies, television shows, toys and spotting him at Walk Disney World. Throughout his evolution from the very beginning to present day, he has always had a lovable and welcoming demeanor and appearance. His bright yellow shorts, white gloves, round ears and big smile creates a sense of joy in all he encounters. With the later additions of his girlfriend, Minnie Mouse, and friends Donald, Goofy, Pluto and more, only more happiness was added to the wonderful world of Disney with Mickey Mouse.
