Happy Belated Birthday to Ringo Starr

Richard "Ringo Starr" Starkey celebrated his 80th birthday last week, July 7th, 2020 with a livestream on Youtube with himself and other musicians playing classic Beatles songs, talking about some humanitarian foundations, and Ringo's favorite saying "Peace & Love."

Normally, Ringo Starr celebrates his birthday with his wife and family at the doorstep of Capitol Records with other musical performances and giving the world some Peace & Love, but this time because of the Coronavirus pandemic, Ringo decided to still hold his birthday celebration, through a Youtube livestream, with everyone at a distance. Some artists who dropped by to play their rendition of classic Beatles hits, were Sheryl Crow, Sheila E, Joe Walsh, etc and other birthday messages from Ringo's family and other celebrities as well.

The foundations Ringo was supporting during his birthday livestream were Black Lives Matter, MusiCares, the David Lynch Foundation, and WaterAid. All donations made from the livestream were to be divided equally to all four organizations.

Above all else I think it goes without saying, Ringo Starr looks incredible for 80 years old. After all this time he's still singing and dancing with his current band, "Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band," and going around the world sharing his music and of course, spreading Peace & Love everywhere he goes.

As a drummer myself I always looked up to Ringo Starr since I was young and I'd say I do even more so now. As an 80 year old who can still rock out as he does and spreading his message of Peace & Love, I have the utmost respect for and can only hope that I'm has healthful as Ringo when I'm 80.

Happy Birthday Ringo! Peace & Love.

We Heart It

Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:
