Happiness is something special to ascertain. Not everybody has it naturally; it needs to be earned. Having happiness can help you create inventions, get the job you love and radiate positivity to those around you. Before I got into writing, I struggled with depression. Many of my friends and family came to my aid and changed my attitude. I did have help, but you have to want to be happy. Expecting to be happy just because is not what real happiness is. Even if you are at a low point in your life, dig deep for those feelings that make you at peace. Happiness gives you the opportunity to empower those around you and inspire special people in your life. It is something people will remember you for long after you are gone.

Sometimes it is a lot to ask. Life is not easy. Finances build up, drama gets in the way, even driving down the road you can tell most people aren't very happy. On the contrary, most people are very unhappy. It will show in your work or school, and people stay away from negativity. I have been the negative person who thought all there was to life was being a paycheck robot — I thought that we were just born to work. There is more to life than feeling that way. Creating that positive attitude will make you go places that you could not without positivity. Search your feelings, dig deep, and achieve that full on happiness in your life. Set goals, reach your goals, and pursue more opportunities. If you always have a goal set up or a mission to accomplish for yourself, your attitude will remain better than one who just doesn't care.

I believe achieving happiness is the secret to life. Becoming a truly happy person may take months or even years, but what a great reward. Waking up not feeling depressed, being motivated, and executing your plans will make your life more efficient. To achieve happiness is a unique journey. Look within yourself and pinpoint the things that you want in your life. After all, you deserve it. We are a generation of smart people with unlimited access to information regarding techniques used by our ancients to purge the body of "evil energy". I hope all of you know that you should be happy and deserve to be happy. There are people willing to help, I promise. Seek and acquire this attitude and the world is yours.

— I would like to dedicate this article to Nicole Michelle Fusco. There was a point in my life where I never thought I would smile again. Lo and behold a woman comes out of nowhere and brings back my smile. She has inspired me to do things in life like broaden my education or try new hobbies. I owe my happiness to her help and I am eternally grateful. I love you very much.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

One Book Made Me Question Existence In Its Entirety

"The Stranger" by Albert Campus touches upon many heavy elements... but not in the way you expect. Although it touches upon the aspects of death and love, it also deals with a hidden philosophy similar to that of nihilism.

The story follows the short life events of Meursault, a Frenchman whose carelessness for his actions eventually ends him in jail and dependent on a jury of people to judge the ethicality of his decision and the punishment that he deserves. He eventually gets the death penalty and all throughout he is nonchalant and almost apathetic towards his situation. He finally snaps when the prison sends a priest to him to absolve him of his sins and to cajole him in confessing to the lord.
