I remember being in grade school with inspirational quotes all hung upon the walls. I thought they were honestly a waste of money, but I will soon be a teacher hanging up those silly posters as well.
I've come to realize there is so much power behind making someone believe in themselves. It took me eighteen years to get to a point that I decided to be happy and listen to these silly confidence boosters.
You see, I wanted to change my major because I felt that that was what I was being lead to do, but I let the fear of the negative comments slow me down. I was unhappy with certain people in my life, and it took me way too long to decide that I wanted to make a change and replace those "friends" with people who truly made me happy.
We live a very short life, and with that short life you get limited time to make yourself who you want to be. I want to be a kind person that overflows with joy. I want to make a change in anyone who meets me. I want to make other people's lives better. That is something so impossible to do when I am not happy with my own choices.
If you want to transfer colleges to make yourself happy, do it without regard to the opinions of others. If you need to drop out of school to reach the potential God has given you, let nothing and no one stop you.
Every inspirational quote about being the best you you can be was right. We only have a short time on this earth and only one life to live. That life should be lived making yourself and those around you happy. Do not waste a life God has given you to do anything other than what He has called you to do.
Jesus has the best plans for us, and I honestly believe that there is no better way to live our lives than to live it relentlessly.
Everything you have done in the past is gone and out of mind. Your happiest days can be ahead of you no matter where you are in life. You can always improve the way you love yourself and the way you love others. Love this life you are given, and do everything you can to make it the one you want.
