Everyone Can Be Broken Down Into 3 Types: The Hand, The Head, And The Heart

There are many different classifications for the personality of someone, whether that is by zodiac sign, Myers-Briggs personality types, etc.

I believe there is a much simpler way to classify people and that is by a hands person, head person, or heart person. For me, understanding what kind of person someone is helps me understand how to treat them and be the best friend to them that I can be.

Hands Person:

This is the person that always has to be doing something. They are hands on and productive all the time. For a hand person, they don’t feel worthy if they have been unproductive. The "hand" people in my life try to make be feel better by keeping me occupied and keeping my mind off things. A few friends of mine are hand people and they are the type that gets assigned a project and it’s done the next day.

Head Person:

A "head" person tends to think logically about situations. They are analytical about emotions and think more rationally. I am definitely a head person. When I see someone upset or going through something, I think about the steps that need to be taken to help them. Being a head person, I can sometimes be less empathic when dealing with people because I think about what they should do instead of empathizing with them.

Heart Person:

A "heart" person is the most sympathetic of the three. They are the ones that empathize the best with the people around them. One of my best friends is a heart person and she is one of the best listeners I know. Whenever I need to talk about something, she is there to hear me talk about anything and makes me think about what to do based on my emotions. This is good for me as a head person because it makes me realize that not everything I do should be based on logic.

Analyzing the different types of people and how they deal with situations allows us as humans to be more understanding of the people around us.

So, what type are you?

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
