Halsey recently came out with a new song called "11 Minutes" and soon after a music video too that is very powerful. Halsey is a singer/songwriter who has put out many popular songs throughout the years such as "Colors" and "Without Me". The new song features YUNGBLUD and Travis Barker, Blink 182 drummer. The song has an upbeat yet sad feel to it, which makes the music video even more impactful. Halsey spoke in a recent interview saying that when YUNGBLUD described the meaning of the song it was mainly about a high school relationship that comes to an end when the girl dies in a car accident on her way to see him. Colin Tilley directed the music video and Halsey helped with the creative aspect of it. She explained on Twitter that YUNGBLUD steered the ship musically and she did visually.

The video has a dark black and red hue throughout which gives the viewer the first look that the video isn't going to be very happy. It explores the five stages of grief throughout the song. The five stages of grief are denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. YUNGBLUD relives the night of Halsey's death over and over trying to change what happened. For the first few stages, he wakes up, checks his watch to see that there is a countdown of 11 minutes, and runs out the door. He has 11 minutes to get to her to try to change what happened. He runs into problems along the way, such as bumping into a woman by accident and spilling her purse and running into a homeless person as well. At one point when it seems like he's making good time these black hooded figures stop him and hold him back. He struggles to get free from these dark figures but time has run out yet again. Halsey explained that these are a sort of higher power or hands of fate trying to stop him from interfering with destiny. The inclusion of these figures was very creative and powerful in the video because getting in between destiny never ends well. The depression stage focuses on him drinking the night away and trying not to think about what happened. Lastly, the ending, the acceptance stage, focuses on him finally coming to terms with what happened and reminiscing about the forever that's now the past.

This video is really powerful because grief is a major part of life and knowing how to handle it is important. The video itself is really visually pleasing and exciting to watch, which I think is another reason why it has been getting attention. When you lose someone especially so suddenly and violently it is not easy to process, so I think this music video does a good job of showing that. The acceptance aspect of YUNGBLUD'S grief depicts how in time you will feel better and understand that you cannot change everything that happens. You can think about it all the time and replay it in your head, but once you come to terms with the fact that there is nothing you can do, you can find peace.

If you haven't heard the song or watched the music video yet I definitely recommend it. Music videos are a nice way to visualize the song and it's meaning and gives you a better connection to it.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didnā€™t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, Iā€™m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.
