Pokemon GO developed by Niantic, has seen a noticeable decline in usage and downloads among Smartphone and Mobile Device users. This has been due to a number of factors in which some were preventable while others were inevitable. However, the event known as Halloween Treats in Pokemon GO could be the first of many that could rectify this decline in Pokemon GO usage. This would effectively reinvigorate the interest in Pokemon GO that has deteriorated since the initial success of Pokemon GO.
In celebration of Halloween, Pokemon GO had its own Candy treats to give out in the game! This event lasted from October 26 until November 1, 2016. In this event, players could receive way more Candies than usual. Every Pokemon caught would reward the player with six Candies, which is twice the normal amount. Professor Willow would give the player two Candies instead of one for every Pokemon transferred to him. Also, the player’s Buddy Pokemon would award Candy four times faster than usual. Furthermore, twice the amount of Candy than usual is awarded to the player for every egg hatched. Thus it is imperative that any players aspiring to be a Pokemon Master should take advantage of this Pokemon GO event and get their fill of Candy during this special event. Additionally, there are a few spooky Pokemon that will appear more often than usual. All the information regarding the Halloween Pokemon GO event is here!
Niantic has made the right decision in my opinion when they introduce events like this. This is genuinely a great way to keep fans and consumers alike interested in the game. I can say from first-hand experience that due to this event, I have been more dedicated than ever to obtain all the currently available Pokemon in Pokemon GO in my quest to become a Pokemon Master and realize my childhood dream in real-life. Because it’s now easier to obtain Candies, it is easier to level up and evolve Pokemon, which would probably cause a small increase in the user-base for Pokemon GO and keep people playing. Niantic must keep releasing events frequently to keep people interested. Events like this could lead to opportunities and partnerships for Niantic or even Nintendo with many potential business partners. If Niantic properly implements these events in the near future, this could be huge for both Niantic and Nintendo. Pokemon GO has taken a step in the right direction, and Pokemon fans are excited for new experiences and adventures in their quest to become Pokemon Masters.
