Halloween is days away and that means that November is basically here, aka the holiday season. I love Halloween movies, preferably the ones that are more cute or funny than innately scary.

If October has been a crazy busy month for you, you may have forgotten to watch some of your favorite Halloween movies, but you still have time! This week I know I have been bingeing my favorites, and you need to add some of these to your list if you need to get in the last minute Halloween spooky spirit.

If you are in need for a little bit of nostalgia...

If you need some nostalgia in your life right now to offer some comfort, Disney Channel Halloween movies are just for you!

  • "Halloweentown"
  • "Halloweentown 2: Kalabar's Revenge"
  • "Halloweentown High"
  • "Twitches"
  • "Twitches Too"
  • "Don't Look Under The Bed"
  • "Mom's On A Date With A Vampire"
  • "Under Wraps"
  • "Tower of Terror"

If you aren't a movie person but loved to be scared...

If you like TV series' more than movies, you should try "The Haunting of Hill House" on Netflix followed by "The Haunting of Bly Manor." Both of these series' have been highly recommended by viewers from the cast right down to the scary scenes. You are guaranteed a good scare during both of them!

If it's date night and you need a double-feature scare...

If you finish a movie and it's still early and you have time for a second one, these movie pairings will make your date night EXTRA cuddly.

  • "Sinister" and "Sinister 2"
  • "The Conjuring" and "Annabelle: Creation"
  • "Scream" and "Friday the 13th"
  • "The Visit" and "Get Out"
  • "Us" and "Hereditary"

If you just want to laugh but still watch a Halloween movie...

Some of us just don't like to be scared — *ahem,* like me. If comedy is incorporated with a Halloween vibe, you can count me in, extra points if it has Adam Sandler. His new Netflix film "Hubie Halloween" is a great movie to watch with some friends or significant other for a lighthearted October night!

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.
