The annual Zombie Walk in Asbury Park almost met its maker last year as uncertainties circulated whether or not it would be shut down. Different factors such as time, expenses, and demand kept its original founder unable to run it as planned, but luckily the universe had other blessings as the owner of Johnny Mac’s House of Spirits would take over.
Many participants are getting ready for this years walk and remember the pain of last years scare. With over 8,000 in attendance, the walk set a Guinness World Record in 2013 for the largest gathering of zombies. This year is set to take place Saturday, October 1st from 10 a.m - 6 p.m. and I’ve got just what you need to satisfy all of your zombie preparation dreams and desires. With that being said, you have just been bitten and here is where the fun comes in. Jamie Leigh, a make up and special effects artist, seizes the power of imagery and effects to create powerful masterpieces in each of her projects.

Originally based in NYC, after earning her BS in Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing at the Fashion Institute of Technology, Jamie Leigh extends her skills to the New Jersey community.
