Popcorn balls are a delicious way to spice up your Halloween celebrations. Whether you're heading to a party or spending the night watching scary movies, popcorn balls are the perfect addition to any Halloween festivities. Plus, they're easy! There are even a variety of flavors to try, and you really can't go wrong.

Original Popcorn Balls

Ingredients:
3/4 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup butter
2 tsp cold water
2 5/8 cups confectioners sugar
1 cup marshmallows
5 quarts plain popped popcorn

Directions:
1. Combine cold water, butter, corn syrup, confectioners sugar and marshmallows in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir the mixture until it boils, and then carefully combine the hot mixture with the popcorn. Be sure to coat each kernel.

2. Grease hands with vegetable oil and shape the coated popcorn into balls while it's still hot. Cover the balls in cellophane and store at room temperature.

Candy Corn Popcorn Balls

Ingredients:
1/2 stick (2 ounces) butter
4 cups miniature marshmallows
1 bag plain popped popcorn (12 cups popped)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt 1.5 cups candy corn

Directions:
1. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray the foil with nonstick cooking spray.

2. Place popped popcorn and candy corn in a large mixing bowl and set aside.

3. Microwave butter for 30 to 45 seconds to melt it. Add marshmallows and microwave for an additional 90 seconds to melt them. (If marshmallows don't look melted, stir them and they should liquify). Stir to blend the butter and marshmallows, then add vanilla and salt. Stir until it's evenly distributed.

4. Pour marshmallow mixture over the popcorn and candy corn, and stir until each popcorn and candy corn is coated and all is well combined. Allow the mixture to cool for a minute or so.

5. Spray your hands with nonstick cooking spray, and scoop up a handful of popcorn. Firmly form popcorn into a ball shape. Make sure that the balls are compact.

6. Place the popcorn balls on the prepared baking sheet and allow them to firm up at room temperature.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
