What's a better way to get into the fall spirit (no pun intended) than listening to some spooky songs? Nothing, is the correct answer.

Throughout the years, Halloween songs have gotten more and more popular, and I am loving it. Whether you need to make a playlist for your annual Halloween party, or simply want to get in the Halloween spirit all month, here are 10 songs you absolutely NEED on your Halloween playlist.

Somebody's Watching Me by Rockwell

Spooky vibes and easy to jam to.

Time Warp from The Rocky Horror Picture Show

This song is the Cha Cha Slide of Halloween.

Monster Mash by Bobby Pickett

If you play this song, I promise it will be a graveyard smash.

This is Halloween from The Nightmare Before Christmas

The Nightmare Before Christmas is basically the anthem of Halloween. Most of the songs from this movie should be on your playlist including "Jack's Lament," "Oggie Boogie's Song," and others.

The entire "Turn Off The Light" album by Kim Petras

An entire Halloween album? Yes please! This album pretty much does most of the work for you. Some of my absolute favorites include "There Will Be Blood," "Close Your Eyes," and "Massacre."

I Put a Spell on You from Hocus Pocus

Though the original version is great too, the classic version of this song as sang by the Sanderson Sisters in "Hocus Pocus" is iconic and needs to be on your playlist this Halloween.

Bury a Friend by Billie Eilish

One of Billie's newest singles, Bury a Friend is another iconic, spooky pop song that deserves a spot on your playlist.

Disturbia by Rhianna

The original spooky pop song. It's not a Halloween playlist without this song.

Spooky Scary Skeletons by Andrew Gold

I'm not sure how it got popular, but this song, or any remix of it, needs to be on your Halloween playlist.

Thriller by Michael Jackson

Duh.

Though there are plenty of other spooky songs from Disney classics to popular rock songs, these 10 should always be your go-to's for your Halloween playlist. If you're too lazy to actually put one together though, you can find all of these plus many more on my Spooky Scary Halloween Playlist.

Have a Happy Halloween and enjoy these tunes all month long!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
