October is about to end, and with it *Spoopy Season*. Costumes, candy, carving pumpkins are all excellent traditions, but nothing beats the ultimate Halloween tradition: watching "scary" movies. Disclaimer: not all of these movies are 100% scary, but they are Halloween classics that make Halloween the glorious holiday it is. Here's the 13!

1. The Shining 

2. Hocus Pocus

3. Halloween (the first one at least) 

4. Coraline 

5. Saw (any Saw really)

6. Scream (at least the first one)

7. Monster House 

8. The Nightmare Before Christmas 

9. Beetlejuice (just don't say it 3 times) 

10. A Nightmare on Elm Street

11. Poltergeist 

12. The Addams Family (either obviously, they are iconic) 

13. The Corpse Bride

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here.
