If you've lived in Hagerstown or near Hagerstown, you know it is a very small town with limited things to do; great things, but limited. For Halloween time this year, however, Hagerstown is stepping up their game.
Most people love fall for its affiliation with pumpkin carving, spooky houses, and fun costumes. It's hard to find activities that everyone likes,events that are nearby. and most importantly, that everyone can afford. However, Hagerstown is giving their community some fun fall activities that will let you do more this fall, for less.
1. Hager House Ghost Tours:
Following a tour guide with only the assistance of a dimly lit lantern, explore the ghost-ridden Hager House. Mysterious and dark, it's sure to be a thrill for Halloween lovers. Recommended for ages 12 and up.
2. City Center Ghost Tours
By wagon or by foot, you can tour Hagerstown's city center's most haunted spots at night. This fun and spooky event is recommended for all ages of Halloween enthusiasts.
3. Spooky Sprint
Anyone trying to run off (or walk off) all that candy you're going to eat? Luckily, Hagerstown is having a spooky sprint that starts at the fairgrounds and goes all around downtown Hagerstown. Pick your favorite costume and get running!
4. HOWL-O-Ween
All you need to know is that there are dogs, that they are dressed up in cute Halloween costumes, and that you can get a ticket right now for only $5. Doesn't get much better than that.
5. City-wide Trick-or-Treat
To end the month of festivities grab your basket and go get some candy! Starting at 6pm, the city will be full of people walking around in costumes trying to get all the candy they can before Halloween ends.
