Halloweekend is almost here! Time to pick out a killer costume that will blow your friends away and totally win you that costume contest. Happy Trick-or-Treating!

Single Ladies

1. Wednesday Addams (The Addams Family)

Classically gothic and unapologetically sassy, Wednesday is the perfect character to help you let out your dark side.

2. Cruella DeVille (101 Dalmations)

Villainy has never looked so good.

3. The Joker (Batman)

"Why so serious?" This genderbent clown can be transformed into any of the classical joker looks from Jack Nicholson to Heath Ledger to Jared Leto.

4. Jigsaw (Saw)

Wanna play a game? Genderbent Freddie Krueger and Jason Voorhees have been SO overdone. But genderbent Jigsaw...creepiest cutie around.

5. Wonder Woman (Wonder Woman and Batman v Superman)

Wonder Woman is the ultimate symbol for girl power and strength, and with her new solo movie coming out, she is more popular than ever. Be the superhero you always wanted to be this halloween.

Single Guys

1. El Diablo (Suicide Squad)

He may be bad, but he's not evil. He also has rad face tattoos that would look awesome for halloween.

2. Archer (Archer)

This look is so cool and creative, no one else would have the same costume as you at the same party. Plus, Archer is pretty good with the ladies.

3. Marty McFly (Back to the Future)

Throwback to one of America's favorite characters and one of Hollywood's biggest heartthrobs of the 80's.

4. The Dos Equis "Most Interesting Man in the World" (Dos Equis Commercials)

He's been a meme. He's been impersonated. He's a perfect halloween costume to get you some laughs and maybe even the girl.

5. Captain Jack Sparrow (Pirates of the Caribbean)

Seriously? Who wouldn't want to be Captain Jack?

Couples

1. Morticia and Gomez Addams (The Addams Family)

True love. Soulmates. Til death do them part. The darkest, most perfect couple.

2. Sandy and Danny (Grease)

The iconic couple that go together like rama lama lama ka dinga da dinga dong.

3. Jackie and JFK

Do I even need to explain how adorable this is?

4. Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable (Kim Possible)

Don't pretend like you don't still remember the theme song.

5. Regina George and Aaron Samuels (Mean Girls)

Although we were all rooting for Cady to get the guy...Regina and Aaron do look cute together.

Groups

1. The Mystery Gang (Scooby Doo)

Jinkies! You guys deserve hella scooby-snacks if you pull of these group costumes!

2. The Breakfast Club (The Breakfast Club)

We won't forget about you if your clique has this look.

3. The Purge (The Purge)

Creepy, scary, and super fun.

4. The Sanderson Sisters (Hocus Pocus)

SISTAHS! No one shall look as fine as thee.

5. The Ghostbusters (Ghostbusters)

Who you gonna call? This costume idea is great because it can be genderbent and swapped as needed.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
