7 Hallmark Movies That You Can Watch All Year Round No Matter What Season It Is

I grew up watching the Hallmark Channel and their movies. They have a special place in my heart. I know that the movies can be cheesy and predictable, but I love them just the same. I will always love movies on Hallmark, no matter how tacky they can be. Whether I'm watching them with my friends or family, I always have a good time watching them. Here are seven Hallmark movies that you can watch all year round.

1. Switched For Christmas (2017)

I love this movie. It's one of my favorites. Yes, it's a Christmas movie, but that doesn't mean you can only watch it in December. It's a good movie to watch anytime. It stars Candace Cameron-Bure, who is one of my favorite actresses. She plays twins who switch places to plan each other's holiday events. One in the town that they grew up in, and the other at the twin's job. It's pretty good.

2. The Christmas Cottage (2017)

Lacey (Merritt Patterson) attends her best friend's wedding that is over the holiday season. While decorating the cottage for the couple's honeymoon, she ends up running into her old flame Ean. They begin to spend time together before the wedding and decorate the cottage together. Lacey then has to decide who she wants to be with, Ean or Roger, her business partner.

3. The Mistletoe Promise (2016)

This one is about two people who don't like Christmas who make a pact to help them get through the holidays together. One has to deal with an ex-lover while the other tries to impress his company. Of course, throughout the movie, they start to get to know each other a little bit more and starts to turn into something more.

4. A Royal Christmas (2014)

Emily (Lacey Chabert), a seamstress, finds out that her boyfriend isn't just anyone. He's a prince. Shocker, I know, but it's good. She ends up spending the Christmas with the prince and his family. Throughout the movie, Lacey tries to convince the Queen that she is right for her son, and it doesn't really go well for most of the movie. I watched this one last Christmas, and now it's one of my favorite movies.

5. A Dash of Love (2017)

I know the first four movies on this list were Christmas movies, but I'm not going to apologize for it. Now, we can move onto the non-Christmas movie part of the list with "A Dash of Love." Nikki Turner (Jen Lilley) is an aspiring chef who gets her dream job at a restaurant where her boss is her idol. During this time, she becomes friends with the executive chef. After wrongly getting fired from the restaurant, they decided to open their own place to prove that their food is better than the restaurant that they were previously at. During this time, the two start to fall in love.

6. Good Witch (2015)

So, I've been watching the series on Netflix, and have yet to watch some of the movies but overall, I can say to check these out. They are good. It follows Cassie Nightingale (Catherine Bell) who lives in a town called Middleton. She lives in the Grey House which is old and once abandoned building. What I learned is that you can watch the series without watching the movies, but watching the movies before the series is probably the best. Because there are a few things that they talk about in the series that would make more sense if I had watched the movies first. Like Cassie Nightingale's relationship with Jake Russell. Plus, Martha Tisdale is the mayor in the series, but not in the movies. Overall, I suggest watching the movies and the series. I still have to get caught up on both.

7. October Kiss (2015)

This one I haven't watched in a while, and I am making a mental note to watch it as soon as possible. Poppy Summerall is hired as a temporary nanny, Ryan Lawson after her sister states how good she is with children. Ryan Lawson is a widow who is also an executive obsessed with work. Throughout the movie, Poppy teaches them what is truly important in life; love, family, and everyday occurrences and the joy that comes with them.

There are a lot more Hallmark movies that I could list, but that would take ages. There are also some that I have yet to watch that look really good. I know that Hallmark movies aren't everyone's cup of tea, but it never hurts to try and see if you like one. For me, I will always love Hallmark movies. That will never change, no matter how cheesy and predictable they can be. Catch me planning a Hallmark Movie Marathon while doing my homework.

Mistakes are something we all make, no matter how old we get. Most of the time, the mistakes we made are little and sometimes due to something out of our control. Yet, there are mistakes that are bigger than others. Personally, I have mistakes that I wish I could go back and undo. Here they are:

5 Things To Do That Are Better Than Writing A Paper

Don't waste your time trying to write that paper when there are so many more interesting things you could be doing.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?

Who could be a better friend than your own sister?

I can barely remember back when I was the only child. Most would say it’s because it is extremely difficult to remember things as a toddler but I would say it's because I was bored until my sister came along. My mother always says how important the "sister bond" is and with every year that passes I realize how right she is. Instead of writing a novel about all of the wonderful things there are about having a sister I decided to list a few of them instead.

It is the time of our lives that we are beginning to enter the adult world and most of us, if not all of us, have no idea what we are doing. It's like starting a video game, but skipping the tutorial. We're all just running around aimlessly hoping we accidentally do something right that moves us along the right path. Now that graduation has just happened, or is right around the corner for some of us, it's time to start thinking about how we are going to take care of ourselves once we are on our own.
