"One Tree Hill" is one of my favorite shows ever -- a show that is relatable to many people. Here are just a few of my favorite quotes from Haley James Scott.

On life and the moments we create:

"Life's too short to play games. If you love somebody and you wanna be with them then go get them. Deal with the mess later. We don't know what tomorrow will bring."

On living our life:

"Someone once said that death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside of us while we live."

On finding the person you are meant to spend the rest of your life with:

"Isn't that what it's all about? if we're not out there looking for the we want to be with forever, then what are we doing?"

On where you want to be in life and making sure you do the right things in life:

"You can choose to blame your circumstances on fate or bad luck or bad choices. Or you can fight back. Things aren't always going to be fair in the real world. That's just the way it is. But for the most part, you get what you give. The rest of you life is being shaped right now. With the dreams you chase. The choices you make. An the person you decide to be. The rest of your life is a long time. And the rest of your life starts right now!"

On what love means to her:

"Love means giving chance when there's no more chance left to give."

On her choices she made about leaving Nathan to go on tour with Chris Keller:

"It didn't matter without you. None of it mattered without you."

On feeling left out sometimes:

"Sometimes I feel incredibly disconnected, really uncomfortable in my own skin. Kind of like I don't fit in to this world. Like I was born at the wrong time, and I don't belong."

On dreaming:

"We spend so much time wanting, pursuing, wishing. But ambition is good. Chasing things with integrity is good."

On forgiving people you love:

"Why is it that it's so much easier to forgive a stranger than it is to forgive someone you love?"

On giving your dreams up:

"I don' think you ever realize how much you love something till you have to give it up."

On when tragedy happens:

"Everyday we ignore how completely broken this world is. I have to tell myself to just be happy. But, I don't feel happy. And when I try to change it, when I try to remember what being happy feels like...I can't, I don't feel joy. I don't feel inspired. I feel numb."

On believing there's more to life:

"I have to believe in something right now because without hope, I wouldn't be able to breathe."

On falling in love:

"I gave you my heart. Thats all I can give. And if that's not enough for you, then I'm not enough for you."

On wanting to be somewhere else in life:

"We all make different choices, and we need different things. But, I think eventually we learn to define happiness for ourselves in our own terms in spite of the pain people have caused."

On love:

"The day you start thinking that love is overrated is the day you are wrong."

When life gets too quiet:

"The truth is, when it gets really quiet, when the silence get too loud, and I really start to miss everyone, I tell myself the same thing, I can't see you, but I know you're there."

On your achievements in life:

"You should never be ashamed of your achievements."

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

One Book Made Me Question Existence In Its Entirety

"The Stranger" by Albert Campus touches upon many heavy elements... but not in the way you expect. Although it touches upon the aspects of death and love, it also deals with a hidden philosophy similar to that of nihilism.

The story follows the short life events of Meursault, a Frenchman whose carelessness for his actions eventually ends him in jail and dependent on a jury of people to judge the ethicality of his decision and the punishment that he deserves. He eventually gets the death penalty and all throughout he is nonchalant and almost apathetic towards his situation. He finally snaps when the prison sends a priest to him to absolve him of his sins and to cajole him in confessing to the lord.
