No offense B. Davis or P. Sawyer, but Haley's better.

I'm sure everyone's heard of "One Tree Hill" (if you haven't, my sincerest apologies for you've been living without this wonderful show in your life). But I feel like those of us who are fans of the show always talk about how "style savvy" Brooke Davis is or how "moody and artsy" Peyton Sawyer is. Not a lot of people talk about how great of a character Haley James (Scott) is. So I'm here to tell you exactly that and hopefully you'll see why Haley should be your new favorite too.

She's super smart.

She actually met her future boyfriend-fiance-husband Nathan at the tutoring center. Her nose was always in a book and she got the grades to prove that all the studying paid off. She made being a little nerdy look very cool.

She's heartbreakingly honest.

She was so mature for her age, and I think that was because she did a lot of growing up when her and Nathan got married. But, even when things got rocky, no matter if it was at school, home or with her friendships/relationships, Haley never failed to say what was on her mind. She wasn't afraid to tell the truth and share her feelings, which made her such a brave girl.

She relates to us on so many levels.

Like this. Chocoholics everywhere, unite!

And this. Sleep is essential guys.

And she had the best one-liners.

Don't mess with Haley (especially not when she's pregnant during senior year)! These lines made for the best entertainment though.

She also had great hair. #Goals.

She pretty much rocked every color under the sun (red, blonde, and even a super dark brown). She also experimented with tight curls and straighter locks. She always looked so pretty and polished.

She was 1/2 of 'Naley', which makes her 1/2 of the best couple on television.

Nathan was a bad boy basketball player before he fell for Haley's good hearted nature. She changed him for the better-- and he made her believe in love. All around, their relationship was the best on the show and Haley was 50 percent of the reason for that.

She was talented, but always humble.

This girl could sing, but she never was overtly-bratty or acted like a diva (I'm choosing to forget that minor discretion during the end of Season 2/beginning of Season 3-- that was all Chris Keller's fault)! She was able to admit when she needed help with her music, and was also able to be a good judge of character which made her a long-lasting name in the music business.

She had the best advice for everything.

From love to life, Haley was the go-to girl for advice. She had the best wisdom because she followed her heartwithout losing her mind along the way.

Her family came first.

And what a cute little family it was. I mean, come on, how could you not look at Jamie Scott and smile? That kid was so cute! Haley was a great mother because she was able to balance discipline with fun and she never let things get too out of hand.

Her struggles only made her stronger.

Seeing Haley struggle through a dark period of depression after the death of her mother was so sad. But she was able to show a more vulnerable side of herself which made her all the more human and relatable to viewers. She came out stronger in the end with the help of her family, friends and her own determination. Just goes to show that you can get through anything if you try.

She had a heart of gold and she was true to herself 100 percent.

Thank you for being you, Haley James. The world of Tree Hill, North Carolina is better because of you.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.
