While of course I love all my friends equally, there's just something special about having guy friends.

There's this cliche statement that says that being friends with guys equals less drama, and honestly, that's so true.

I haven't fought with any of the guy friends I've had. We've had disagreements, sure, but we'd just address them and move on right away.

Other than that, I can honestly say that I've never had any issues with my guy friends. Ever.

That's a freaking relief, and a plus. Drama is seriously the last thing you would want in your busy life, especially drama that deals with your friends.

I swear there's nothing worse than fighting with your friends. It makes you feel alone and like the whole world is against you.

But usually, this isn't the case with guy friends since there's not much you would even find to argue about with them.

Having guy friends has taught me to be more carefree, to be more of myself, and to simply just have fun.

Whenever we're together, we're just constantly laughing and doing the most ridiculous things. We can be absolutely hilarious together while also being extremely serious if we need to be. They know my whole life story but still don't judge me.

I trust them with everything, and they give me some of the best advice I've ever heard. They hype me up, protect me like a brother, and will do almost anything to make me happy.

Having guy friends gives you an unbreakable bond.

No matter how long we don't talk or see each other, once we're together, we just pick up right where we left off.

Those are the best kinds of relationships.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
